For the final celebration of National Arts Month, the Nueva Ecija Tourism Office had the incredible opportunity to visit the Amangpintor Art Museum, home to the works of the renowned Novo Ecijano Artist Mr. Elito “Amangpintor” Circa.
Hailing from Nueva Ecija, Amang Pintor is a renowned painter, educator, animator, writer, and passionate advocate for the environment and Indigenouism Art. His groundbreaking artistry, featuring unique performances and extraordinary paintings created with his own hair and blood, has earned him global recognition.
Amang Pintor's artistic style is deeply emotional, often reflecting themes of spirituality, folklore, and mythology. He draws inspiration from music, nature, books, and prayer, allowing each masterpiece to tell a profound story. More than just an artist, he is a mentor, inspiring children to embrace creativity and use art as a tool for advocacy.
His dedication to preserving culture, history, and the environment has taken him across the world, where he showcases his talent and spreads awareness on pressing issues like global warming through his Indigenouism Art Movement. His live painting performances, where he paints using only his hands and fingers while accompanied by live music, captivate audiences everywhere.
